With more than 165,000 attendees, 3,800 exhibitors and 6,500 accredited media, the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas is the gathering place for people working in high tech. In January 2017, sixteen Belgian startups participated at CES. Four of them were supported by an incubator from Liège, The Faktory: Riiot Labs, Kanopy 25, Pioupiou, and P-Heal. In addition to The Faktory's group, Bloom Life, Calyos, Lix Pen , and several companies from Brussels and Flanders also joined the show.
While in Las Vegas, three Walloon companies received the prestigious CES Innovation Award! Bloom Life was awarded for its smart pregnancy tracker, Riiot Labs for its smart pool analyzer and Calyos for its fanless cooling technology. With such a great representation by Belgian startups this year, we can't wait to see what they will accomplish at CES 2018!
